After training at the state music school on the piano and in choral singing in my childhood and youth, I studied medicine and practiced this profession as a neuropsychiatrist to this day, i.e. for several decades.

But the music has always accompanied me, especially the electric bass and double bass with which I was active in an amateur jazz band for about 15 years.

Several years ago I decided to actively play and produce music again in my life, which is why I decided to do an apprenticeship in modern music technology (music production, sound engineering, event technology, analog sound design, DJ-ing, mastering - excellently organized by the www.akademie-media.at) and earned the diploma"professional audio engineer".

Right from the start I was able to produce Herbert Koller as a subtle and intellectual singer-songwriter and finished 2 CD's. Other projects are already being planned.

Meanwhile, I'm slowly finding the time to produce my own music - alias "usrboi", into which I also incorporate my singing training with Mag. Andreas Grussl, which has been going on for several years now.

At the moment I'm also playing double bass with the "Swing Mobil" quartet (www.swingmobil.at) and in a Hungarian/Slovak baroque orchestra from Komarno/Komarom.
